your value and “usefulness” as a human being does not lie solely in your ability to fit in, work a job, study, pay for things/buy things, look a certain way, produce, procreate, etc.
we are not robots. we are not clones. we are not livestock.
we have the gift of consciousness for a reason.yes, the physical world is important and we cannot ignore it, but we must first take care of our foundation, our greatest capacities: love, empathy, sharing, unity.
our value and usefulness first lies in our ability to love ourselves and others; to be (as much as possible) kind and non-harmful, and to share/unite.
inner-growth through self-love & peacefulness will yield the greatest outer-growth, despite what societies, systems, and governments likes to command and demand.what is the point of living this life if not to feel love, and receive it, from yourself, and others?
a system that does not encourage and foster this is not a system you can trust to tell you your worth as a person.

It will be written in the history books and generations will remember, that Syria never closed it’s borders for those who fled their homes seeking safety and refuge.
Syria has never asked any Arab for a visa to enter it’s lands whether it was a visit or permanent stay.
In Syria not a single tent was put up on the borders to accommodate for refugees across the years, houses were opened, streets were vacated and cities were renamed to allow for refugees to feel at home.
Let it be written in the history books and let the generations remember, that when a Syrian needed help and refuge; borders were closed and the world looked away.
